A Farm Day Event
Saturday February 16
• Backyard Composting 10am-12pm
Would you like to grow more food and medicine in your backyard and do it well? The secret is in the soil.
Florida sand makes growing food challenging. This class will cover how to build high-quality soil in your own backyard in volume, in an easy to build and use an open compost system.
The Foundation for a Beautiful Garden taught by Pinellas Community Compost Coalition
Instructors: Amanda Streets, Jen Andreani, Heather Henderson
• Regenerative Herbalism, 2-4pm
We will discuss ways to be a conscious steward of plants and how to create a positive impact on how we grow, source, and use them. We will use the ethics and principles of Permaculture as a lens for how we can work more deeply with medicinal plants!

Please join us for one or both classes!
